I have been so deep in creating that I have neglected everyone on social Media for like 6 months...
Its been a pretty crazy ride! From deciding that I was not satisfied with the weight I was, to getting a undercut and of course trying a extremely new venue to travel..
I've been molded and changed into a person who I now love much more than I used to...
I've grown in my creativity and in my visions..
And the biggest major change was to decide to go full on to this new series...
Instead of weeks of planning, its months...
Instead of self doubt, its confidence...
I love this...
I feel more... stronger and more myself when I do these major shoots..
I wanted to tell you all the steps I have gone through to make these dreams a reality..
So with the Fairy shoot...
It wasn't quiet as much of a undertaking as Peacock one but it most certainly had its challenges..
Since this was my first time doing a shoot of this caliber I wasn't as demanding as I should have been and let major details slip...
Not fault of anyone's but my own.
And I didn't create a outfit for her which was also a problem for the reason that we constantly had to cover her shirt to hide how contemporary it was..
The wig was a costume store wig not a lace front which is so obvious it hurts.. haha! But I was Naive and believe everything doesn't have to be perfect...
The Make up artist was phenomenal and her talent was like un-matchable..
So in saying what I'm about to say know that it was more on me than anyone else..
The colors ended up not being as dull as I needed them to be which made editing a pain...
The wigs where made completely by yours truly! I got gossamer and used faberic stiffener to mold and stiffen the shape. That in itself took three days per wing. The we took two metal blocks, thick metal rods to put through the wigs and bolted it together so it could sit on her shoulders. They were easy to hide and a spectacular piece! I love them! They where so awesome for this shoot!
I had so much fun doing the shoot and spending time with My friend Emi for the last time... and getting to feel out what it was like doing a shoot that was this extreme.. was just wild... it was like a 4-5 hour shoot but well worth it!

The SirenSo this shoot was pretty wild...
First I would like to admit frontally that this was not how I originally pictured this shoot to go at all..
Everyone that was the part of the original cast for this shoot bailed on me haha..
and it took like a extra week to get this together..
Lol its like the fairy shoot everyone came that was supposed to but the vision was delivered exactly what I had in mind.. In this shoot nobody that was supposed to be there came but the delivery on the final product was phenomenal!
I created the scale amour out of paper, hotglue and paint! which that in itself took like a half of a month to do bc as it got closer to her neck I had to start by hand sizing the pieces to get smaller...! Then the crown, ugh the crown... took like another half of a month to make because for one I had a completely different design to begin with but when I tried to combine the idea's together they did not mix.. So I had to start from scratch and make my own crown.. ugh.. hot glue, garden wire, and feathers lots of feathers...
The shoot itself took about 7-8 hrs.. make up took 4 hrs so.. not bad for shooting time for me. But the kicker was.. we originally where going to shoot outside but the weather decided to be like, "no y'know what I'm feeling a hurricane today so.. I don't care how long you planned this but this is my plan.."
And didn't have enough vines so while it poured rain on me, I was cutting vines of the trees in my back yard... and I was just about over it.. lol
I sat there for a moment and prayed for this shoot to work out..
And it did beautifully so I just thank god for making everything work out..
